Melda Gursoy has been in the sports and fitness industry for over 15 years. She started as a former professional basketball player. Her path crossed with Pilates when she got an unfortunate knee injury 10 years ago.
Pilates immediately became her life. She used this to recover, become pain free and then to get stronger. Melda became fully trained in pilates through Balanced Body and STOTT. She is also a post-treatment rehabilitation trainer. She previously managed her own studio with gymnastics federation approval for 3 years in Istanbul.
Now, Melda serves many patients at West 1 Health. Her classical style of Pilates has created a strong following of 1-1 sessions in Marylebone.
Melda firmly believes Pilates is the most effective exercise for posture, well-being and body shape.
